Into The Mind – Official Teaser

Into The Mind – Official Teaser

From the makers of All.I.Can comes the new feature film: INTO THE MIND

Blur the lines between dream state and reality, as you perceive the world through the minds of many. Into the Mind contemplates the experiences passed between mentors and peers to paint a philosophical portrait of human kind. What drives us to overcome challenge? How do we justify risk? What forces are at the core of a mountain addiction? Unique athlete segments over a multitude of mountain sport genres depict the connectivity of Earth, and window into never seen before moments. Explore how we begin our perception of self, construct the foundations of confidence, and are ultimately led up the path of self-actualization.

As Buddha once said, “The mind is everything. What you think you become.”
Into The Mind is about becoming.

Amazing Croatia, Dubrovnik and Baška Voda

Amazing Croatia, Dubrovnik and Baška Voda

This short video is filmed during two weeks stay in Croatia in August 2012. We were in Baška Voda and Dubrovnik. The views was amazing!

Croatia is a country of more than thousand islands, and maybe has cleanest waters in the Mediterranean. The boat trip to Jelsa and Bol was great.

Dubrovnik has been placed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Marble streets and baroque buildings were impressive. Cable car took us up to Srd Hill. Sunset from there was very beautiful.

Shot on Canon 60D.

Here is my first video project.

It is a timelapse video of the the mountainscape in Allgäu/ Bavaria/ Germany.
All sequences are shot in the area around the town Bad Hindelang.

The exact shooting locations were Hinterstein, Bad Hindelang, Oberjoch, Sonthofen, Burgberg, Oberstdorf, Hüttenberg and Gunzesried.

I have spent over 12 months collecting footage for this, I have shot approx. 20,000 stills before choosing 10,000 of them for this video.

Personally it is my goal to show you the beauty of the mountains on all the different daytimes and seasons.
They are always nice, even if the weather is bad.
One of my focus points is for sure the photography of the night sky, which fascinates me the most.

I have spent a lot of time in the nature taking these pictures, however the most work had to be done at home with post processing. And although you always feel like there is something you could have improved, even small details, before releasing, you come to a point when you just have to finish. And this time is now.

I want to thank my friends and family for supporting me.

The resolution of the video in Vimeo is 1280 x 720.
It is also available in 1920×1080 (and even 4k for some shots). Contact me for higher resolution.
Video may not be used commercially or public without permission.

Hope you like the video, more info about me:

I am a 20 year old photographer based in Hinterstein/ Germany. I started in January 2011 and want to improve myself continuously.

From Inside: Superstorm in Brisbane, Australia (Timelapses)

More than 25.000 lighting strikes in one day, 10,000 residents lost power… This is how I saw, filmed and felt the superstorm in Brisbane, a week ago. Love to tell stories like this one!

You can also watch it with a better quality here: youtu.be/MuBapybl8nk?hd=1

Kuala Lumpur DAY-NIGHT

Kuala Lumpur DAY-NIGHT

Kuala Lumpur: super-modern buildings juxtaposed with various cultural enclaves and with a little of Asia’s chaos thrown in. My time lapse explores how the city changes from day to night highlighting how spaces dramatically alter during the course of a few hours.

As summarised by Marc Lourdes on Yahoo! Malaysia:

“5 months. 400 hours of solid work. 4 cameras. 40 shoots. 640 gigabytes of data. 19,997 photographs.”

nos mira desde el fondo de un espejo;
el arte debe ser como ese espejo
que nos revela nuestra propia cara.

Cuentan que Ulises, harto de prodigios,
lloró de amor al divisar su Itaca
verde y humilde.

The Art of Poetry

To gaze at a river made of time and water
And remember Time is another river.
To know we stray like a river
and our faces vanish like water.

To feel that waking is another dream
that dreams of not dreaming and that the death
we fear in our bones is the death
that every night we call a dream.

To see in every day and year a symbol
of all the days of man and his years,
and convert the outrage of the years
into music, a sound, and a symbol.

To see in death a dream, in the sunset
a golden sadness–such is poetry,
humble and immortal, poetry,
returning, like dawn and the sunset.

Sometimes in the evening there’s a face
that sees us from the depths of a mirror.
Art must be that sort of mirror,
disclosing to each of us his face.

They say Ulysses, wearied of wonders,
wept with love on seeing Ithaca,
humble and green. Art is that Ithaca,
a green eternity, not wonders.

Art is endless like a river flowing,
passing, yet remaining, a mirror to the same
inconstant Heraclitus, who is the same
and yet another, like the river flowing.

FR

Des jours de l’homme et de ses ans ;
