Here and Away

Here and Away

A short poetic narrative about urban vs rural living, identity and belonging. Two people—an old man living on a small island and a young woman living in one of the world’s biggest cities—discuss why no other place on earth could ever be home.

Shot in and around Shanghai, China and Prince Edward Island, Canada. Shot entirely on a Canon 5D, 7D and with equipment I could carry on my back.

48h in Hong-Kong, ’12

48h in Hong-Kong, ’12

In june, we spent 48h in Hong-Kong.
We were very lucky because we didn’t have a bad weather: the sky was very expressive and it was
ideal for timelapses.
We walked a lot with the material under a dampness and heavy heat but we enjoyed to play
with our toys 🙂
Hong-Kong (downtown) is a bit to commercial for us because there are too many malls : it’s the shopper’s paradise!
, but we enjoyed the atmosphear and we would like to come back there with great pleasure 🙂

Before to go to HK, we had a great crush (“coup de coeur”) for a video from Vimeo and his music accompanied us
during our 48h trip in HK. Enjoy Mister Jo’s HK and the mesmerizing music here : vimeo.com/31136871
