This is my 3rd video created using DSLRs showcasing some of the beauty and activities, mostly in Steinkjer and a few scenes fromTrondheim.
These are the best captures from the last 1,5-2 years.
Update: Won two prizes in a local short-film festival yesterday.
I submitted this short-film to a local film festival called STUFF (STeinkjer UngdomsFilmFestival – roughly translated -> Steinkjer youth film festival) spanning the age groups 15-30 years old.
It won two awards, one in the category “Open class” and the other was the “Audience awards” meaning that the audience voted for the films they liked the most.
The jury’s justification in the “Open class” was:
” The winner was technically very well completed and impresses with strikingly beautiful photography.
It shows an anormous pleasure to the subject and a unique eye for nature and environments.
Rarely has Steinkjer presented itself so wonderful. “
The idea I had when I began to edit this together was to create an “artificial day” going from night to night using the Ken Burns effect to create motion in post-processing to indicate and enhance the feeling of night, sunrise, midday and sunset passing by.

I’d like to thank a friend of mine, Anett for letting me borrow her sofa a few times when I was working in Trondheim last year when I captured the very last clip in the video.
I’d also like to thank Quality Hotel Panorama at Tiller in Trondheim for giving me a room on the top floor with a fantastic view towards the City Syd parking lot during the christmas rush last year.
